Biography

Jonte Berry (6-4, 325, NW Oklahoma State) rejoins the Strike Force with IFL veteran status in 2023. He joined San Diego midway through their inaugural season in 2019 and appeared in seven games. After taking the 2020 COVID year off, he joined the NAL’s Columbus Lions in 2021 and then the IFL’s Iowa Barnstormers in 2022. Jonte returned to San Diego in 2023 and played in one game.

Berry is a native of Missouri City, Texas and finished his collegiate career at Northwestern Oklahoma State University after playing one season at Kilgore College (Texas). A 2010 graduate of Alief Taylor High School in Texas, Jonte helped his team reach the third round of the Texas 5A State Playoffs.
