April 18, 2024 - Kishawn has been placed on the IFL Exempt list after signing with the CFL's Edmonton Elks.
Kishawn Walker (6-2, 190, Kentucky Wesleyan) joins the Strike Force for his second season as a member of the IFL. Last season with Northern Arizona, he saw action in 17 games and recorded 54 total tackles, two tackles for loss, nine pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble.
Before joining the IFL, he spent time in the NFL Houston Texans rookie mini-camp in 2022 and the XFL’s St. Louis Battlehawks. He played his final two collegiate seasons at Kentucky Wesleyan which included his fifth year in 2021. Kishawn completed the season with 39 tackles, five interceptions, and led Division II with 17 pass breakups. He went on to be named to four different All-American teams, First Team All-Region, and First Team All-G-MAC.
Kishawn began his collegiate career at Georgetown College (NAIA). In his two seasons as a Tiger, he recorded 50 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and eight pass breakups. During the 2017 season, he led the nation with seven interceptions. He went on to transfer to Western Kentucky and then spent time at Bowling Green before landing at Kentucky Wesleyan.
He played his prep career at Owensboro High School in Kentucky where he helped the Red Devils to a 2014 state championship after catching a game-winning hail marry touchdown pass in his junior season.
