San Diego Strike Force

Randal Grimes (6-4, 210, UNLV / Weber State) joins the Strike Force for his second season as a member of the IFL. Last season, he spent time with the Vegas Knight Hawks and recorded four receptions for 56 yards in three games.

Randal finished his collegiate career at Weber State (UT) where he recorded 14 receptions for 177 yards. Before the COVID break, he was at UNLV in 2019 and racked up 44 receptions for 696 yards and seven touchdowns. He started his collegiate career at USC in 2017 and recorded two receptions for 17 yards.

He played his prep career at Desert Pines High School in Las Vegas, NV. During his senior season in 2016 at quarterback, he threw for 1,003 yards and nine touchdowns as he led his team to a 3A state title and earned Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, Prep Star All-West Region and Las Vegas Review-Journal All-State honorable mention honors. As a junior receiver in 2015, Randal recorded 26 receptions for 548 yards and seven touchdowns while adding 127 yards and one touchdown on the ground. He also played safety and went on to earn All-State Division I-A first-team honors.
