San Diego Strike Force

Sherrod Williams (6-1, 228, Lenoir Rhyne) joins the Strike Force for his second season as a member of the IFL after spending time with Northern Arizona in 2022.

During his final three collegiate seasons at Lenoir-Rhyne, Sherrod saw action in 36 games and recorded 241 total tackles, 25.5 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, four interceptions, 15 pass breakups, nine forced fumbles, and four fumble recoveries. During his junior season, he was named SAC Defensive Player of the Week three times in a four week span. After junior year, he received Second Team All-South Atlantic Conference Honors. He went on to complete his senior season and was selected to the school’s All-Decade Team as he ranks 10th all-time with 316 total tackles and a school-best 12 forced fumbles.

Sherrod played his prep career at Calhoun County High School in Arlington, GA where he lettered all four years in both basketball and football, plus two years in track and field. He also received First-Team All-Region honors all four years in football and once in basketball.
