Mo’Unga (6-2, 325, BYU / TAMUK) joins the Strike Force for his third second season as a member of the IFL. He played his rookie year with Quad City and saw action in 11 games while recording 12.5 tackles, one sack, and a blocked kick.
Mo’Unga started his collegiate career at BYU and played in 20 games his first two seasons while recording 21.5 tackles (eight solo). In 2017, he suffered an injury three games into the year. His medical redshirt witheld him from playing in 2018-19.
Tevita transferred to Texas A&M University Kingsville during the 2020 COVID year and appeared in both spring games, totaling five tackles and a fumble recovery. In 2021, his final season, he played in nine games and registered 33 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack, and two pass breakups.
During his prep career at Vista Murrieta High School in Murrieta, California, Mo’Unga amassed 104 tackles, 17 quarterback hurries, 11.5 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, 2.5 sacks and one fumble recovery. He was named First-Team All-League and Defensive League MVP.
